Rock Creek Ranch consists of two Texas Hunting Ranches offering Exotic and Whitetail Deer Hunting located in Central Texas. The Original Ranch is in Copperas Cove, and the other in “The Deer Capital of Texas” Llano, Texas; located in the famous Texas Hill Country. These properties are only an hour apart, and offer different hunting experiences, with different animal species.

Rock Creek Ranch offers a first-class hunting experience for both exotic and Texas trophy whitetail deer hunting. All hunts with Rock Creek Ranch are fully guided, and we hunt these animals using all methods of hunting: bow, handgun, crossbow, rifle, spot and stalk, safari style, and blind hunting.

Rock Creek Ranch has been family-owned and operated since 1990; it was founded by lifetime Texan Mike Franz. Rock Creek Ranch features an unforgettable hunting experience for all levels, for those just beginning their hunter’s journey to lifelong hunters. Hunting has been a large part of our family’s culture, and we are delighted to share our home, land, and an adventure with you. Texas Hunting Trips

We specialize in Texas exotic and whitetail hunting trips in the Texas Hill Country. By having multiple ranches, we are able to diversify the number of game animals, type of terrain, and accommodations, thus giving each ranch a totally different experience. These ranches have been managed for years to produce superior herds of Whitetail and Exotic game. Challenging hunts are available for every level of hunter. At Rock Creek Ranch, you will have the option to participate in a variety of hunting opportunities. Your choices include Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunting and Exotic Hunts for: Aoudad Sheep, Axis Deer, Blackbuck Antelope, Fallow Deer, Red Sheep, Red Stag, Scimitar Horned Oryx, and many more species. Most of these species, with the exception of whitetail, can be hunted throughout the year. We also offer bass fishing, dove, duck, turkey, and predator hunting.

Texas Hunting Lodge

Both of our exclusive Central Texas ranch locations feature on-site lodging. Each of our Hunting Lodges has been curated to offer a private, comfortable, and luxurious Texas Hill Country experience. One lodge is located north of Llano, while the second is nestled south of Gatesville.

Each hunting experience is intentionally limited to ensure a quiet, unhurried adventure, allowing you to fully enjoy the ranch in a setting which feels entirely your own.
